*psst* - you do know this will end up indexed on google pretty quickly don't ya?

scarey thing is, the 4BD1 powered 110's cost the same as a country house back then (circa $48k), makes today's defenders look cheap doesn't it?

Yep well its a matter of need more than want i will need more seating than 5 soon and the room in the county is beta than the rangie tho the only prob i see with the county is the driving position and i rekon i could mod a few things to make it alot beta and yes after driving the turdis i could get use to driving a county rather than a rangie tho as for the 4BD1 ive known how good they are since the mid 80's and dads old stage 1 4BD1 wagon is now mine tho the body and most of the steel in it have seen beter days and its only good as a doner now its a shame tho as it was a great truck

That's a really nice looking County, as an '85 model in that condition and assuming the chassis, bulkhead and all 5 door frames are in good condition you should get at least $8K - $10K for it. I'd sell the accessories separately as you'll still get much the same money for it.

I know this is going to be a little bit contentious, but I would say that if it was a genuine factory built Isuzu County then I think it would be worth more (like $12K). When I bought mine I was only looking for a factory built one because of it's uniqueness, future collect-ability and because it is one of the most Australian Landy's available (except for a Perentie maybe!). I think 1103.9TDI hits the nail on the head quite nicely...

Good point, but it's a County not an Aston, mind you look at the price of GTHO's. I'm going to enjoy mine though it's not built to be a concourse collector, it's built for fun.

G'day All, In the pic showing the 110 with the lid up (bonnet open) what's the significance of the 'BLUE' data plate, I can see the vehicle is registered in Qld, but I thought the 'BLUE' data plate was applied to "modified vehicles" in that state, if so whats been modified, just a curious question from another very satisfied Tonka tractor owner cheers Dennis
