AND I'm getting 12/100 city and 13/100 highway and 15/100 highway towing 2 tons at 100km/hr. Got to love a big cube turbo intercooled diesel for low down torque and top end go if geared right
The last one we fitted to a 130 with a LT85 behind it destroyed 5th gear because it COULD tow 2 tons all day in 5th He has gone to 33's and uses 4th gear now for all the hard work.
It is really hard to actually convey just how good these engines are in a landy/ rangie. You really need to drive one.

The other thing to remember how good they are off road with engine braking.

Min has 315/75/16's (35's), LT85 and 4.1 diffs and I followed a 40 series with 31's and a JK Jeep with 35's down a 35-40 deg hill, they were on the brakes all the way down, I did not use the brakes at all and was getting board and had to use some throttle to keep up with the others
