They won't be out by much is my guess, mine have been done 3 times in 500k+ and needed only minor adjustment. Unlike the Tdi which needs a look at every 10 to 20k

Well, wihout the giant socket for the crank nut, I would just stick it in 4th High and push the vehicle to adjust the valves
Make sure it is on flat ground though
