    Cool, As long as the extra thickness isn't an issue. I haven't looked at everything that closely yet to see what needs to be done.

    Just worked out they want $50 for shipping! That's a bit over the top.

    This one looks the same at $50 shipped. 1.5 inches overall thickness.

    Short answer is 1.5" won't matter. Using the Isuzu manifold it is at ~45*, so you only lose part of that in vertical height.

    Longer answer: It will depend on the bonnet, manifold type, turbo type/size and other size/space constraints like air con/heater, etc.

    Has anyone considered if using an adapter style similar to the following, and drilling+tapping the pyrometer probe into it?

    It's perfectly fine as long as you're happy with the 2.5" depth. That depends on which manifold you use and what else is nearby in the engine bay and bonnet height.
