Every comment so far is true, right from the 'don't do it, they suck', right to the 'good truck' and 'if you don't buy it, I will', it just depends on the day, and how well tuned your sense of adventure is!

Go on, give it a go. It's only money! (and time, of course...).

I purchased mine 12 months ago, I've covered 40,000 kilometres which have been mostly trouble free I tend to agree with all the above posts and can't say why I'm so addicted to it. I even prefer driving it to my Ford Territory

I have some long term plans for it, including the fitting of this from www.rotecdesign.com.au ( which is coming along nicely I'm told )

I'd definately buy another and would definately reccomend them for reliability too.

    Do you mean these folks?
Rotec EnviroDiesel Design (REDD) :: Rotec Diesel

It also increases fuel efficiency as well as engine power (by up to 90 percent) while prolonging the life of the engine.

I guess they've changed their website address, yes their system does turn the engine into a two stroke,

not sure of costs as mine is going to be done on "mates rates" but nearer the time I can let you know exact costs.

Engines that will be covered are the 4BA1, 4BD1 and the 4BE1.
