Wink First drive in the Isuzu today...

Well, we usually visit our grown up boys every now & then & go in the Commodore, being a company car as there is no cost.
I got the Isuzu registered yesterday, so obviously it was the vehicle of choice, its only about a 35k round suburban trip. So Mum & me, the 8 & 13 year old climbed in & off we go.
    Some observations/ occurences.
Speed limits are an objective, especially on hills.
Isuzu motors can trigger parked car alarms if you idle past them- that got a laugh.
The girl at Macca's cant hear your order- another giggle all round.
It became a competition to who could properly shut their door (OK not Isuzu related)
We have always given our landies a mans name starting with an "L" as my first Landie was Larry,( then Lenny & Lawrence) so we aired some names that were left & the obvious choice was LURCH.
Mum got out at the end and said "I feel like I've been to a rock concert"
The family nominated Lurch to be the vehicle to take away on our holiday.
    It wasn't a dull trip,thats for sure.

Oops must have pressed the wrong button.

I'm pleased to say mine does all of the above too

I find it easier to walk into Hungry Jacks or Mc Donalds and order rather than try the drive thru.

Ours has gone from being called "the rattle" to "Optimus Prime" it was my two boys

Maybe your engine is trying to tell you something.

This phenomenon has caused me to stop frequenting drive throughs and consequently my health has improved and I will live longer to enjoy my 4BD1 for many more years to come

I just turn the engine off. I find drive throughs easier when doing long trips with the dog as company seeing you can't leave a dog in the car while you buy something.
