My N/A 120" will not see any better than 14L/100

Don;t know how people can get 10's

My figures have all been accounted for any margin of error
ha what gear box you running, dose it pull ok. I want to run 35'' as well. I can live with those fuel figures as I have lived with the v8 and that is thirsty.

    Cool,

thanks guys. I always figured that because you were using more air you had to turn up the fuel to keep the mixture inline... but I suppose in practice you would use your right foot if it did something, right ;-)

LT95, 0.996:1 high range, loves it

I had 4.11 diff gears, changed them back to 3.54

Could still do with being more overdriven

The fat feet, chunky tread pattern and the lift needed to fit them under.
    Nah, must be something else.

I have never had any better than 12ltrs/100 with my 120" even on 235/85/16. I now run 35s and get similar figures.
Best is 12 and gets down to mid 15 when doing heavy work. I do drive it hard though.

Turbo should use less, they are more efficient, can deliver the air required for the fuel shoved in, remember these are oil engines and are governed by fuel quantity not air fuel mix

Thought I'd add my 2 bob...

The following are figures from my recent sojourn from Cairns to Cooktown via the coastal route (that being a combination of sealed highway/ unsealed roads with several steep climbs/ descents, creek crosses etc: 100 km/ hr on sealed; <80 km/ hr average on unsealed):

    22.89 lt for 240 km at ~9.54 lt/ 100 km
    44 lt for 520 km at ~8.46 lt/ 100 km

    87 110 county, 4bd1t, lt85 and 235/85/16 tyres.

The economies posted above are not unusual for this particular vehicle since its rolled off the production line. Runs off the smell of an oily rag so to speak!!!

    Cheers
    JP
