Hi
As far as I know there is only one vehicle which has been exibited at an art gallery "as an "exemplary work of industrial design" and I think most of us know which machine that was :D

Yep, these were a nice looking car. I wanted one back when those old English cop shows were popular.

This one was in the Packard museum in Dayton, Ohio in 2011. An early thirties Packard V12 two seat boat tail roadster with custom bodywork by Henri Chapron of Paris. A very big car on about a 150" wheelbase. It stood out on first sight because of the sheer quality of the workmanship and fittings. A stunning exhibit in a museum full of top line cars. Unfortunately its location precluded getting decent photos. It was on loan then and was not there in 2013. Valued at a tentative US$3,000,000 for insurance purposes I was told.
