this is perhaps one of the most beautiful cars ever but it's not my favourite.

Impossible to accurately value these classes of collector cars. Depends on which billionaires are bidding and want them badly enough. At Milwaukee in 2011 a superbly restored Miller front drive 91 had a suggested pre-auction value of $850,000. Two very rich collectors got into a bidding duel and it was sold for $3,250,000. A spare engine "as is" went for $250,000. Bugatti Royales have passed $8,000,000. Briggs Cunningham paid $10,000 for his in the late 1950's and everyone thought he had gone mad. Stuart Murdoch paid Henry Dale $3,000 for a Bugatti Type 57 about 1956 and one sold about 5 years ago for over $3,000,000.
