Thread: What was your first cars?

Well this is an easy one, never been a person to waste money on cars

1st Datto 1600
2nd Range Rover
3rd Defender

That covers the last 30 years

My first car ad car i learnt to drive in was a S3 2.25 Diesel 1971 model (funny enough same year as i was born so the car was 8 months older than me )



Then have a 2.5 petrol 90 softop 1985 model



Then a range rover which i bought with a transit engine in it and then i took that out and put a 200 Tdi in it
The range was a 1973 2 door



And then another 90 2.5 diesel soft top




Then a 100 " hybrid 3.5 V8



Then a 1986 range rover 3.5 v8
BTW notice the alloys same ones as now on the Blue 90 we have here. They have been on 5 cars i have owned



Then a 1991 200 Tdi 90 (this was my winch challenge toy)

1973: 1973 Honda XL100 Trail Bike (only new vehicle I have ever bought) (sold 1975)
in AUS
1974: 19?? Morris Minor 1000, 2 door (sold 1974)
1974: 1937 Chev Std Sedan (sold 1983)
1977: 1973 Honda Civic 3 door (came with wife, car sold 1984)
1979: 1958 ID19 Citroen (awaiting restoration)

Now daily drivers are 1993 Saab 9000 CD (hers), 1992 Honda Civic 2 door SI (son 1), 1978 Volvo 264 (with 244) (son 2) and 1988 RR Tdi300 (me!)

Drivers License in 89 at 17, learnt to drive 2 door rangie, then drove rover 2000 - apparently dad thought it was safe, well it wouldn't speed

First car given to me by my parents in an attempt to get me to read
1987 - 1923 Fiat 501 - partly restored
1996 - 1965 105 Alfa GTV - to be restored
1996 - 1976 Rangie (sold in 2000 and upgraded to the 77)
2000 - 1977 Rangie (then 2 donors 76 stripped & 80 parked in yard - anyone need body parts - rangie that is)
2000 - 1984 Alfa GTV
2005 - 1990 Rangie

Nah but nothing surpirses me any more
and thats not all of the trucks i have owned. That just the one i have kept for more than 6 months
