Hey Geoff. I was down at the Murwillumbah Super special stage on Saturday night and spotted you waiting at the start. I would have come over for a chat but I didn't think the officials would like me jumping the bunting.

I've done sweep and road blocks for QRC rounds in the early nineties while I was a member of Brisbane Sporting Car Club. It's a great way to see the rally and you don't get caught up with spectators. I enjoyed the road blocks because you're usually somewhere remote and get a great view of the cars (and crashes!).

Have been watching it on 10HD......assuming the bloody hippies don't stuff it for us....wouldnt mind going to have a look next time. Speaking of hippies.....really wish there was an eradication program for these hippy/ greenie types as there is with other vermin. Apparently they have been putting boulders on the roads, throwing rocks.....walking out in front of cars....all cause some wallaby might get nailed. FFS....if they are that concerned....go protest in the Outback amongst the carnage their if they are so gung ho for it. Tossers ,

    Regards

    Stevo

What do people think of the Ch10 coverage this arvo?

    - seems a bit weak to me - over-forcused on the commentators?

    - lacking much actual on-site live camera work ?

I thought it was pretty good! had some classic flash backs and was great for a rare live coverage of WRC. You need to remember not to compare it to other rallys as they show all the highlights where as this was coming to us as it happened

I thought it was terrible. The same 10 best crashes played yesterday and today, lots of old stuff (filler) and too little about this weekend. While I like the presenters, what background do they have in Rally?
