well the creek flooded very minor last night/early this morning but I made it across in the car around 2pm mind you it didnt need much more water to stop me.
It was dropping around an inch an hour which is very slow but reflects the way it which we got the rain
Spoke to my Daughter this morning, the Kolan River has broken it's banks and with the Burnett river flooding Moore Park Beach is now under threat. Moore Park Beach is smack bang between the two rivers.Daughter is confident (reasonably) they should be OK, as they are on a small rise.
Problem is, up there, the whole area is so flat, therefore when a river floods the floodwater can go for miles!!:(
that's not good Jim, hope your daughter stays high and dry

This is the main road into Moore Park Beach. The service station is just around the corner to the left and the IAG store and the pub a bit past the servo on the right.

Looking out from the service station onto the road. Just a bit wet methinks.
