The Bundaberg daughter won't be there of cause, too far to travel. She is still recovering from being a dog's lunch.
Not much. Vickie is coming over & Jess said she was probably going to call in. Karen going to the docs with Fred.

Well, my book on Bofors Guns arrived during the week, it is an interesting read for somebody like me who served on them. Don't think it would make the best sellers list though.

As a matter of interest I looked up Bofors on U-tube and found this one. Note, it is a foreign version of the Bofors and the control layout is completely different to the Bristol Bofors (English version) that I served on. But still it can wack out a fair amount of lead in a given time. Two rounds a second is a fair amount of lead flying at you if you are in an aeroplane. Have a look.....

Turn your sound up for best effects.............probably why I'm half deaf now, didn't have work safety codes in the 1960's.

Jason, if I get down your way [as per my PM] I will show you how to climb a tree, or whatever with a Prussic knot. I did it when younger, climbing cliffs after abseiling down them, [the Prussic knot is around a rope, not around the tree.]

To Prussic this way you need three loops of rope with a Prussic knot on the three of them. Loops need to be different lengths and the right length for each loop.

To join the loops you use either Figure of eight or fisherman's knot. I always used a Double Fisherman's knot.

I had not realized I have been saving the environment for years-- See my pic on my Facebook page. It is shorter now due to a pair of scissors-- I do get a hair cut once a year whether I need it or not. Wife cuts my hair.

Well I fell crook again yesterday. But now know why. Should only last a couple of days. Do not use epoxy to seal any gaps on a pot belly stove. I lit the fire again yesdy & cranked it right up & the smell was still there but this time the epoxy was smoking so touched it with a stick it was gooy under the pot belly black paint. I knew it wasn't the paint as I paint the oz pig every year. So cleaned all the epoxy off while it was hot & cooling down. Got it all out & cranked it up again I couldn't tell if it was any difference in it. But Karen came up & said that it smelt like a normal fire now. So will clean it some more & paint with pot belly black.

Jason, if you got my PM where I said I was coming down your way, I was going to buy this one. It was advertised at $2800 before it blew the head gasket. Not interested now with blown head gasket-- can be big expensive problem if they overheated.

So how will this budget affect all you guys. Karen said were screwed big time. Just what we need more crap & less money for it. Even the $7 doctors fee is going to be tough on us at times.

If that was a defender I'd buy it. I can honestly say I would rather those shapes & the series over the disco.
