You're showing a lot of courage just by posting here - well done. I don't have any personal contact with this problem so reading this certainly helps my understanding.
I did have one moment of panic standing on a really busy street corner in Bangkok several years ago feeling very overwhelmed by it all, but I'm not sure if thats the same thing as you're talking about.
Does being able to communicate using the Internet without leaving home make it easier?
Keep going - most people are actually sympathetic I think once they understand this is real.
Well done Banjo mate,, I've seen some couragous people in my time,, but you've got this one,,,
I've read this thread from top to bottom, we certainly have some amazing members here thats for sure,, Thanks to all of you for sharing stories/advice.
I wish this had been here to read two years ago when my mother suffered panic attacks just before her death,, I was so lost on what to do, and when you get a call from 400k's away its hard to deal with as I felt totally helpless.
Good luck and God bless you both,,,keep up the good work,,
PS,,, for the heat,,, wet towels and lots of water maybe (??),,
THANX discmick & chops the internet has helped a little bit but this site has been the best for me as we all share the same comman intersts,& in the last weeks since i have told everyone here has done so much for me use will never know how much, again thanx to everyone from all of us here Jason Karen Fred (micayla) Boy (cody)..
Hey chops the wet tshirts & singlets help round home as we dont have aircon just the portable fans to push the hot air around...but karen brought me one of those water bottle thingys you put on your back for biking or hiking that we had forgoten about & found just resently so i am going to fill it up & put it in the freezer & use that going to put it on the back of the drivers seat with the hose coming round to the front we think that mite help...
i realy want to get back to our local bush with the kids they love it up there we find old car bonets & doors & the kids drag them up the hills & slid down it great fun to do & watch..
our local bush is hillsborough.
OH yeah i actualy went & helped karen deliver the post & paphlets today aswell ,well i drove & karen threw but it took bout 40mins.. so thats a hat trick for me out 3 times in one day..
i couldnt of done that without this site & everyones good & encouging feedback...i'm on a roll..
