The vehicle is a D2 td5 auto, Ashcroft HD converter, alive re-map and egr delete. The remap I currently have is great and I was hoping to hold onto the investment already made with the alive tune. Therefore I was interested at turbo only at this stage. Cheers.
There are... diferent compressor billet wich can go from mfs compressor 11 blades to mfs compressor 6+6 blades, the angle of the blades is differente aswell, and also different shape of turbine cutting...

Nevertheless I cant guarentee you the best results of our turbo with that remap...It will work for sure, it will be better than stock for sure, but I the features of the turbo demand few tricks on the remap file to fulfill all the potential of the turbo. I'm normally available to do all the adjustments to remaps of my costumers if they change something to theyr cars (change turbo, change intercooler - even if its from different company) free of charge ... Dont know If the provider of your tune can do it to you, but you can give it a try.

    Cheers,

Jose, perhaps you can have a peak at my current map and let me know if its far off from what you would prefer to suit your turbo. I can contact Alive but they would not know the characteristics of your turbo. I'm not asking for any changes, only a review if you can spare the time. Cheers.

Just pay the $ and get the proper tune from Jose. Why is his turbo good enough but his tune to suit not? Total false economy. Just describe what you want and I'm sure he can replicate it. otherwise you'll always be left wondering.....

I can have a look no problem, but this turbo demands features that would be overkill in a stock turbo and will also not work properly at lower revs with stock turbo... So I would not expected them to be there in a map made for stock turbo.

Never said he's tune isn't good enough. As per one of my previous posts, I've already got an investment in an alive tune and my first option would be to keep it if suitable.

Its the "wondering" part that has me interested in this turbo.....

Also, I thought we would have received a few more reviews by now. Anyone else care to add a review of how their new turbo is going?

    Cheers.

I second that I'm in the market for a turbo but need low down torque and quick spool up for off road driving not as. a street racer ;-)

I've since noticed a few posts on Facebook about a VNT from CR turbos and I believe Jose@TD5inside may be a distributor. I'm waiting on more info.

Hopefully Jose can tune in here and post some info for everyone.

I'm running his hybrid turbo with larger intercooler, boost box egr delete and stage 2 map. I run 265 75 16 mud tyres and it still has plenty of torque down low. I'm running 23 psi at the moment and my motor has just clicked over 335 000km with an auto box as well Its no street racer and runs very well. But if you want to take it to 4000RPM it will happily do that as well. It really transforms the way the car drives and overtakes! Hope that helps. I forgot to mention though it also has the dreaded snapped exhaust bolts and exhaust leak But that will be fixed shortly. If you like I can take some Nanocom readings and post them up for anyone who is interested.

    Cheers

    Chris

We are not distributores.... we are makers

All the turbos for landrover made by CR turbos are develop upon our specs and develop to our remaps. It's a together work, and CR turbos does not sell them directly to anyone

Neverhelesse, they were not anounced to the Australian Market, because I dont think they are ready for this market just yet.

    Regards
