Any hints as to how long the pre-order special prices will continue to run? Just working on approval from Minister of Finance now....
I'll jump in with a couple of answers ....
No but a plastic centre cap is being worked on. I've seen a CAD mock-up and it looks pretty good.
The test wheel was fitted to my D4. There was only one wheel available for test fitting so no photos taken from further back. We raised the front axle and did full rotation of wheel on the driveway followed by driving out onto the street and checking full steering articulation (lock to lock).
Regarding weight and GVM etc I wouldn't rely too much on saving weight by going from a steelie to alloy. At 17.4kg for the steelie, the weight difference is only around 3-5kg per wheel and it is unsprung mass. Not sure if you meant load rating but the steelie is the same or higher than comparable alloys.

Scott

Happy to report the all clear for the Discovery Series 5 platform as shown in the pictures below. It also really tuffens (I think i just invented a new marketing word) the look of the D5 up. There was lots of ooohing are aaaaring.
Sadly for the 2011-2012 L322 TDV8 Range Rover with the LARGE Brembo package it was a fail. The wheel fits on but its an interference fit with contact points both on the rim and the disc face so if you have one of those models, sadly we cannot assist at this point. I will update the website in the coming days.
A huge thanks to Paul Muskat and Chris Munday for bringing there vehicles over to try. If there are other users of pre-update (before 2011) Range Rovers in Brisbane I would love to hear from you to see if they work
Last 2 photos are the 2011-2012 Range Rover TDV8 break package for your reference that does NOT fit.
We are also happy to update on the pre-production testing. We have had a week of minor issues sorting between the different standards, loadings, as well as productions restrictions in China at present (its long story but many factories have been unable to open for the past 2 weeks due to an environmental crackdown going on at present). As soon as we are clear of these tests i will update everyone one.
For those that have tried to contact me on messenger, my apologies for not getting back to everyone, its been a huge week and still trying to get on top of things.

Out of curiosity, what size tyre was used in those D5 shots? It looks a bit small overall in those arches.
More importantly, will an ARB internal TPMS sensor fit the Tuff Ant wheels OK? It's the type that replaces the entire valve stem, not the type that wraps around the wheel.

Wheel Caps – As you can see in the photos below, we are happy to demonstrate our TuffAnt Wheel Cap. This is our final 3D printed wheel cap that will be available with the wheels. For all pre-purchase buyers these are included free of charge, as a thanks for patience and trust in placing orders before the final items are ready. Whilst the part itself is a low value item, to tool something specific for low volume part is dearer than most would realize but we believe it is necessary to complete the look. Remember this is just a 3D print, the final cap will have the TuffAnt logo and name in the flat section in the middle, it will be black and smooth in nature. The recess in the centre is actually specifically designed as the same size as the OEM Land Rover caps that come on the alloys, so for those who prefer, can get a copy set from eBay and stick them on directly into the space. This does require breaking off the tabs on the back, but it gives people the option of leaving the TuffAnt name or swapping to the Land Rover caps to create their own custom look.
Testing - At present we have had some delays with the testing. There is no single reason for this, a mixture of the current production restrictions in China, multiple standards we are aiming to meet, the material selection, and now the Mid-Autumn festival which means most of China is closed between Oct 1-8. As soon as the final tests are completed and we are into production I will update here.
Production – Obviously, the testing delays means we have had production delays, now looking at November delivery with a date to be confirmed as soon as we move into production. When the production date is set, the promotion prices will have a set end date and again, we will notify people well in advance. My thanks again to those that have pre-purchased and whilst the delays are frustrating for all of us, we won’t cut corners on the final product.

Ah, that explains it. 30.5” is a half inch bigger than normal on D4 (looks tough) and half inch smaller than normal on D5 (looks... wrong). Nothing to do with the wheel.
In another thread about TPMS I learned that the ARB are a variant of the steelmate product. I think Scott has those.I havent tried an ARB sensor on it as yet, if someone has one in Brisbane happy to give it a go
