    Longtracks CV Kits

Through the month of September we having a sale on the strongest CV/ Axle combination you can buy for a Rover..
    Normally $660 Now $600 (USD)
Come with both half shafts and two CV's (longfield/rovertracks design)http://www.rovertracks.com/products/axles.html

They fit all 300tdi and later stub axle/hub combination. Easily retrofitted to an earlier truck.

They don't support ABS though... weakens the CV too much..

    Thanks

    Yep they drop right in!!

As for shipping, It's normally about $130-$140 (USD) to the East coast.. If I can get enough of you guys on board (we know you're out there) we could easily cut that by 2/3 It will still be airfreight but I'd send them to one guy and he'd distibute them about... Not sure in the end it would sav ea whole lot but I'll look into it..

    Cheers!!

    Hey Nige!!

I saw your other post and after chasing you around a bit I did a quick "lurk" around this here forum and it seems the guys here are just my sort.. Sales or not I'll be hanging around.. We've got a plan for the whole family to come over in '09 and take about a month to have a look. You're warned!! Once you meet my kids you'll understand

Take about a month? Which small corner of this continent do you hope to see in that time?

I've just started the forward planning to do a trip around with kids - and I plan 6 months (or more).

Whoops - off topic. But then, it is your thread.

Your right! Just a very small corner.. That's up to a Friend who lives in Tenterfield and Overlands a lot, he figures he could show me a bit in a month.. Problem is getting enough time off of work to do it proper! It's taken me some 20 years to see most everything (well sorta) in the States and we've got a lot more pavement over here so travel between destinations (while perhaps not as pleasent at times) is quite fast..

So what's up with that we shoudl be paid to travel and bring our worldly knowledge back to the job! Makes us a better employee I think

The seals on my 91 disco are gone and the cv's are clicking so i believe they may be worn(oil comes out pretty quick). Will these fit in or are my axles a diff spline.

This is where I get a bit confused.. To fit these you would need to have a 24 spline diff, which is a "maybe" in a 91 Rangie so I suspect a Maybe in a '91 disco.. At the hub end of the picture it depends if you have a seperate drive flange and it is the "thin" pattern, these came on the same year ('91) Rangies "sometimes" over here.. If you had a picture of the end of the hub it would help.. Or maybe I could come up with one..

We didn't get the Disco till '94 and most RRC's and early D90's are seemingly a mix of new and old, almost like whatever was lying around went into building the cars! Of course it likely has more to do with years of repairs and lack of a good supply of proper parts.

Can you mail me at keith@rovertracks.com ?
