Well, my wife and I, even though we enjoyed it, have sold the 'van and reverted to a 2nd hand, RTT on a box trailer. I always said that I would never go for King's products, but the base trailer seems pretty good. All accessories are aftermarket, including a Darche 270° awning and 23Zero RTT. In saying that, it did come with a 90 litre, Kings 'fridge/freezer, so I'll be interested to see how that will last. I have the 60 litre Engel on standby!
We've gone from 'van to small trailer because a few of the places where we often camp are quite tight to access.

People like to bag the Kings stuff and some of their gear i agree but on the whole their stuff is good value for money and quality is getting better.

I notice that the photos I posted of my outfit in 2012 have disappeared, so here are a few new ones.
Both were taken in Tasmania on my way to the Australian Wooden Boat festival.

Digging trenches around tents stopped being an acceptable camping practice about 50 years ago .... you never see it done now. It's unnecessary because tents these days have waterproof bases, but even the UL tarpers I know don't do it.

My new to me expedition trailer

    Hi there.

I am new to the trailer scene as have finally lashed out for a second hand expedition trailer. So far I think I have got value for my money. From the previous owner the story is this was a prototype build and came with all the kit from scratch. Receipts confirming. Have been spending the last 2 months checking it out, adjusting the wiring and generally fixing things. I am still happy. Almost ready too take it out for it’s first run with me.

I was originally looking for a more base model but this was too good to pass up. Ended up with more gear than I need but will slowly whittle it back down to basics.
