This is my recently bought 1985 Cub Campomatic.

I'm over tents. Wanted some cheap, easy to tow and erect by one less than fit person. Did I mention cheap?
This is the day I picked it up.
I removed the fitted toolbox and gas bottles and holding frame. The substantial drawbar was added by a previous owner. All I did was check its integrity and give it a coat of epoxy enamel. For a 30 year old camper it's in very good structural shape. I also wire brushed the steel floor frame and used the Ultra Blue Killrust epoxy enamel on that too. Paint was left over from a bike trailer I painted a while ago

You most certainly did!

Tomorrow, weather permitting I'll install the 12v wiring from the drawbar end to the inside of the camper. Nothing flash. Just an Anderson at the drawbar end terminating in a small Narva fuse block with a triple cig socket on one circuit for in camper LED lighting and to charge phone/camera when required. I bought a 5m roll of waterproof LED strip for the interior. Low current draw and no extra heat

This is my Coromal Photoshop Edition. Very stable to tow, negligible ball weight but doesn't like to go around corners.

My little 30 year old Golf Tourer. She is like new except i fully rewired for 12v. Has a full annexe with floor. The black bits near the door are outlets for the 12v fridge and other stuff. Positrac independent suspension. Waterproof 12 volt outlet on other side rear for Coleman hot water system. Very solid fully galved chassis and cross members. Semi off road style van including heavy steel wheel arch liners.
