    I thought of that too, and had a look at Technical Requirements

    which outlines the technical requirements for trailers. It makes no mention of this possibility, which hardly answers the question.

    No need to replace the hubs, just have them redrilled by an Engineering shop.
    You will need new LR studs as the D2 are smaller diameter AFAIK.
