Do you mean Disco2 or Series2 as in LandRover pattern? Which hubs are currently on it?
Either way, it'll work out a lot lot cheaper to replace the hubs. Even just plain wheel spacers off the shelf are about $100each.
i am looking at getting some adapters for my traler so that i can mount series 2 wheels withot changing the hubs. is this possible and at what price as i haven,t seen them for sale ? and are their any legal issues'thanks

sorry the hubs in question are s1 disco but now i have a d2 which will slowly take over from the old one . that is why i was looking at the adapter option as i could use the trailet with either vehicle and mout matching wheels
The only ones that I know of are ex-uk or from Rovacraft in Aus

They are illegal on cars in all states, so I assume they are on trailers as well. Since they have to come from the UK, it is probably just as cheap to get a set of hubs to fit the wheels you want.

It'll be a lot cheaper to get hubs over the adaptors.
Interestingly, wheel spacers are illegal, though as was pointed out to me about 5 years ago, there is no comment about adaptors, but there are guidelines that relate to track changes. Usually adaptors relate to brakes and hubs though and don't go on the WMS.
That said, I wouldn't like to test it in court.

This is a quote from a booklet released by Qld Transport
"The fitting of spacers or adaptors between wheels and
hubs, additional to those provided by the vehicle
manufacturer, is not permitted."
Obviously Qld, but I am fairly sure other states are similar.

i have some 20mm alu billet adaptors to go from my torana stud pattern caravan to new commodore, then had the holes machined out and fitted landcruiser studs and now have DII wheels on my caravan. the offset on the DII wheels was further in so the 20mm adaptors lined up perfectly. cost me around $350 including the machining and l/c studs.

Slunnie,
I posted a similar thing from Qld transport and seeing yours from NSW got me thinking about the trailer side of things. Is a trailer covered under these rules and if it is a homemade trailer, then the "manufacturer" could provide them as original or at least optional equipment for that model.
food for thought
