I don't know. It's not too bad. You've got to do something to mount the winch.
I've seen so many horrible attempts to civilianise a military vehicle.
Whats with the covered wheel steps and matching wheel steps on the rear.
I guess beauty is subjective and in the eye of the beholder but that front bumper does not do a alot for me.

It was to be different! The wheel centres stem from being around trucks, and the bumper was stepped out as the second headlight on the RHS had insufficient room with the bumper left flat due to the steering box. This then lent itself to the jaw, and the two 'pigtail' recovery hooks that I bought when I was out here in 97! They had some abuse too!! It was always great knowing that driving up to walls in car parks you were not going to clean out your side lights and indicators. Fuel tanks were home made to, fill from the right, pick up in left, with one way valve thru 25mm pipe between. Fast cornering kept the LH tank full.. It was always full!!I was always amazed how well the LT95 took 5.7 litres of Nissan. The overdrive's on the other hand were not so happy!!

Don't worry to much, Garry is one who poo poo's anyone doing anything other that what came from the factory....
Good job, The big oiler would of been awseome, far better than that horrid rover bent 8
Now now.... I'm the one who used to own it so I should be the one gettin upset... (I'm not tho!!). Like the idea of a Cummins..... 6Bt springs to mind.... That'll really make some faces cringe!!

A 6b has been made to fit in a IIA FC, there's a few in 110's, and one in a 90 that I know of.
Hasn't been done in a 101 yet, but as I have a truck with no engine or box, and lots of blank canvas ideas it might happen yet, if I can find the cash for an engine.
I fancy the idea of a double cab too.
Oooh, an engineless 101 I thought... just what I want.. then I spotted your location DasLandRoverMan!!! But, that puts you in prime place for the perfect engine/trans combo IMO... The Leyland Roadrunner came out with the Cummins 6Bt and a nice reasonably compact ZF gearbox.... That coils prob be grafted to the LT230 quite well... One of those 90 conversions that you talk of has exactly this in it... (YouTube). You could even use/modify the gear lever and linkage assy to suit the 101.. The only drawback would be the direct injection noise.. The Nissan 6's are quieter being indirect injection..
