I'd play safe and c if you can borrow a roll bar.. It helps support the screen etc. you can run without the canvas. Over here in SA the things I had to have was reversing lights. Original belts were fine.

I`ve just got a new Chassis number plate to stamp up as mine was missing,
Does any one know what weights should be on it. GS.
    Max Vehicle Laden Weight
    Max Front Axle Wt
    Max Rear Axle Wt

In the user handbook they are
    3145kg
    1645kg
    1580kg

And yet photos of a plate on google show
    3652kg
    1846kg
    1910kg

It seems odd that the handbook would show less weight for the rear than the front.

The early models got issued a revised weight placard which shows the heavier weights. I can flick you some pics when I get home.

Now the proper one not a knockoff.

Notice the numbers are stamped on, not printed and the towing information at the bottom. But then we may not want the towing information visible if we want to tow more.

    Thanks guys,
The plate I have got is like Garry's and needs stamping, except the 2 ton towing is printed unfortunately or it could have been 3 tons

    cheers

Mask around the square that says '2' and using a scotchbrite pad or similar, buff out the 2. Mask with something stronger than masking tape. Do a trial sand on the back first to c how it goes!

Why stop at 3? A 101 will manage 3.5tonne easily.

I thought the reproduction plate was printed straight on the aluminium but on close inspection turns out it is just a sticker, so it's easy to cut out the towing weight and re stamp.
