Well sorted stealth-I like the hoop storage at front & 0 overhang, any idea what tray weighs less hoops and rear bar? or tare weight?
Unfortunately my 110 would go over GVM if I'd anything but an alloy tray ,though it would ride nicer unladen
re-toolboxes, 2x alum angle welded to tray then boxes bolted between angle ,on vehicle when I bought it

Not sure of the weight. I never weighed it. The hoops are only exhaust tube but the rear bar is heavy wall pipe for load carrying as is the front bar. The drawer underneath also adds a bit of weight. Most of the framework bars are light walled RHS. With the floor being so light I was able to add a bit more strength elsewhere. From memory when I was putting the tray on two people could lift it although I did use a gantry to mount it. With the front hurdle I can carry 8 metres lengths of steel.

How does the grandpa door fasten to the rest of the side - the holes indicate some sort of pin or bolt would be used, but it is not obvious how/why you have done that.
Or is it that the 'door' opens first and when closed supports the rest of the side?

With the hood bows in place the rear half of the drivers side is stable and the door locks in place with the swing catch at the front and overlaps the rear half. The hood straps also assist. When the hood and hood bows are not in place there is not much strength in the split side, especially when I carry say a load of sand. I have two bolts that go through the two holes that in these cases bolts the two pieces together. You can see in one of the photos how it works with captive nuts welded in situ on the rear half. It then reverts back to a one piece side.
