I'd say a fair amount of the cost came from using a new engine and making it comply with the emission laws, whereas over here all we need to do is wait for a tdv6 Jag to get rear-ended W.Off in the city by a delivery driver to get our hands on a cheaper tdv6. So whats the price of a D2 auto, and a conversion kit? Will I need to sell the house?

    Highlander ...stop smoking pot lol!
I think Land Rover recognise it's a tractor but some of us are ok with that

I reckon with that amount of power and torque if you got stuck in soft sand to the axles, you could have it past the roof in no time lol

I would love a TdV6 in my series Landy.

I think you will find copyright law in Australia allows you to do this. For example, you can include an article but not the whole publication.
Now, let's all be happy and move on.

Now we have multiple choices thanks to ford!
A: the TDV6 from either a territory, a jag, a pug or another LR.
B: The TD5 the defender should have got that is built in the U.K then shipped to thailand and put into the new ford ranger(mazda bt50 twin under the skin) with 3.2L and 147Kw Instead LR went for the weaker/cheaper 2.2TD that the ranger will sell as the povo pack model! (also built in the same plant in the U.K!)
I love the defender but Is it only me that finds it insulting that LR are selling the defender with the poverty pack engine at a higher price than the cousin's with the premium power plant?
