Just to be clear about it, I have never done the Defender wave!

    I have done:
    • The 80" Land Rover wave!
    • The 88" Land Rover wave!
    • The 109" Land Rover wave!
    • The 109" Station Wagon Land Rover Wave!
    • The 109" FFR Land Rover wave!
    • The Range Rover 2 door wave!
    • The Range Rover 4 door classic wave!
    • and even the Perentie Land Rover wave!
    • I have waved at a Defender/s!
But until I get the 6x6 running I'll stick to Land Rover waves!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

You'll definitely have to tell her.. many of the guys are a little hesitant to wave at the ladies driving Defenders for some reason.. and we need more women out there waving to show the boys that we also understand the 'wave'.

I guess it is because the 90 (1985 so neither series nor defender) doesnt look as obviously a landrover, metalic blue, tubular winch bumper etc and I have the roof off 95% of the time, whereas the tdi 110 was a lot more standard and white with the defender stripe up the side.

Here is a picture so people know what to look out for (Brisbane). I want to come back from the lonely world of unreturned waves!
Funny you mention that.. I swore I saw you on the hwy a week or so ago and when I waved I didn't get one in return.. (to be fair you probably didn't see me though lol)..

No problems.. I know I also miss seeing some at times too.. (especially in traffic). Wasn't me at Bulimba though.. but I know there is another one like mine getting around Brissie too in the Mnt Gravatt area so it might have been him.. will keep my eye's peeled for you too!

yeh there is something appealing about chicks in Defenders. I get a wave from a yummy mummy in a 110 some mornings as I go by the local school.

On another note, I let the team down the other day. I was made aware I missed a wave from an oncoming 130, I was busy talking series 1's with Zulu Delta on the way to get the 107 registered, and didn't realise a thing.
