Saw a lovely green Defender very similar to mine in Seymour today. I was a bit far away and he may not have seen my wave. He gave me a flash of the lights though.
Anybody on here I wonder?
Have had several waves which I returned in the last week while driving around the Sunshine Coast. The Defender wave lives on up here.

Saw a white 90 at Windsor yesterday, got my window half down and gave a wave as I turned the corner. The wife picked him out.
Then saw a white 110 black pack shortly after that got a wave ✔️

Currently 2300km into a trip from Sydney to Fraser Island, via Tamworth, Noosa and Agnes Water.
QLD has been good with the wave. Got great waves in Agnes, and Fraser is another level. Even high-5'ed 2 Defenders that were in tandem enroute to Lake McKenzie!A good toot to those parked off to the side in their camping spot helps the comradeship.
The backpackers in hired Defenders need some training, but generally are pretty good.
(Loving the driving on Fraser Island in this thing!)
Feeling Charismatic. I squeezed a wave from a P38 crossing the main street of Orange this morning!
Over xmas very single Deefer wove! Drove onto the punt (ferry for the young folk) at Port Macquarie the other day and the guy collecting the toll gives her the once over like he's perving at a 20 year old in a nightclub and then says "Now, that's a tidy looking TDI - what year is it? 1997?" (which immediately reminds me of the old adage of looking at a 40 year old after way too many beers and thinking she looks like a 20 - 30 year old (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it sounds sexist but women do it too with the only difference being what they're drinking at the time).
Nah, born (built) May 95 I reply and he starts banging on about how they're the most reliable motor, blah, blah, blah. Made me feel good for the next 5 mins and then lo and behold drove the missus 5 hours home back to Sydney and she said the ride was surprisingly comfortable - she must have been after something I reckon![]()
Nice wave from a white dual cab in the Samford main street today. a green 130 was parked near the pub.

Got to talk to the lady driver of a gorgeous little blue-ish 90 Puma today in Yea.
She loves it, but she's also had a 110 too.
Spotted heaps of all sorts of Landies on the way up to Albury today, but as we were in Leeannes little rice burner, waving was futile.![]()
I think the wave's going pretty well, although having A/C & with the windows closed, sometimes It's a flash of the lights, but invariably we do get recognition from other Defender drivers.
Pickles.
