no, no it's not - no handbrake poking the left knee, no water dripping on my right foot, able to still stand up and even walk around after hours on the road, can hold a coversation in the cab or even listen to music, actually accelerates when you put your foot down, but still goes most of where the Defender went...... No, no I'll open up a can of worms I can just feel it

Got some good waves over the weekend!

Sunday coming back from Nambour got many on the highway, poor buggers in slow traffic! Pulled out in front of one at Landsborough/Ettamogah Pub highway section and had to do the big arm out the window!

Today a heap on the way out to Kennilworth through Steve Irwin way and back! Nice 130 ute through there made me think i need a 130 shuttle vehicle, I could carry/shuttle more bikes on the back.

Also got a wave from a nice old Rangie, made my smile go even wider!

I am sure this has been posted - this is not my artwork - but it is so true!

On Christmas eve, drove from Engadine (1 hour south of Sydney centre) to Port Macquarie (1/2 way from Sydney to Brisbane - ish) and EVERYONE waved -cool!

Too true Col. This is what the Defender wave is all about. ...I also stop to help Disco and Rangie drivers. Hopefully they'd return the favour, but I KNOW a fellow Defender driver will always stop.

I remember a couple of years back being stuck in limp mode on the F1/M1 and a brown County stopped to lend a hand, young bloke and I think he might have been a member of AULRO.

Not much could be done but I was grateful for the gesture 👍

    Victorian Defender Waves

Just moved into our new home in central Vic. There don't seem to be as many Defenders down here, at least compared to Brisbane. But happy to say so far it's a 100% return rate.

Sadly it's true. We drive from the Grampians to Melbourne (Western Hwy) probably about once a week on average and seeing another Defender is pretty rare. Saying that, with the holiday season on us we saw more Defenders in Halls Gap this week than I've seen in a long time, and a 100% return rate!
