Thread: Where's the Defender wave gone?

I've been disappointed lately but today, wow!

I was turning into Springvale Road from Reynolds Road, in Doncaster East this afternoon and I was watching the 70 Series Cruiser and lights in front when I saw in the corner of my eye a white 130 dual cab with khaki canvas. I missed it but I waved just in case they saw me in the side mirror.
Here's the best bit, a grey 110 wagon with black pack was driving towards me after I turned the corner, so I threw my arm out the window for the salute and I think he was surprised but he gave a firm wave.
That made my day.

Got a big wave from a another white 110 at the north Richmond bridge just before sunset and my partner got a wave a little earlier from a 110 further down the Hawkesbury Valley Way. She was so excited she stopped and sent me a txt about it!

I dropped SWMBO at Beacon Hill on Saturday afternoon. On the way home, not long after turning onto Warringah Rd I passed a white Puma 110 and waved but was passed too quickly to sea a response. Immediately after that I came up to a Corris Grey one Much waving and thumbs upping were issued from each vehicle.

Turning into a side street off Carlingford Road, traffic crawling both ways, got a wave from a dark grey 110 wagon. That progressed into a brief windows down chit-chat as we drew abreast.

Waved at a very shiny and new looking white 90 on Marmion Ave this morning at 0750 hrs. He was going south and I in the opp. direction to get my morning paper. Not sure if he waved back or not as I was in the D4 and he may not have bothered looking in my direction because of that.

Green 110 in the Beerwah area on Sunday.

Waved to a white 110 ute this arvo on Williamson Road just up from the big round about, I didn't see a wave returned due to him zooming past in the opposite direction.

Saw a black Puma 110 driving down Nepean Highway as I was walking & waiting to cross the road,...waved to him, and the driver waved back!
I find "the wave" is going pretty well, I reckon if We wave, very rarely do we not get a wave back.
