Thread: Where's the Defender wave gone?

I was out in the s3 yesterday and got a wave from someone in a freebie 1. Wave wasnt returned. Sorry but its just too hard to wave at one of those....

Im over perentie and 130 drivers. I just seem to cop a look and no reply. I think they look at my car and probably think im some sort of hipster or something (which im not....not theres anything wrong with that), when in reality my car is always impeccably clean but has probably done harder tracks then what they've ever cared to try.

God, i needed to vent rant over.

Other than that every other defender usually waves back

saw 2x 90's and 1x 130 on the way up to the Mountains today, No waves returned
I don't seem to get waves back from 130 and most perenties.

Sometimes the look i get from the blokes in the perenties p.ss's me off so much i feel like attaching a snatch strap to their car and draging them to my local tip.



I know.....a bit extreme but id bet that get their attention

Waved at a white Puma 110 in Windsor this afternoon and got a huge wave and smile in return. My partner got a 'nice car' comment as she was getting into our black shorty in north Richmond as well. Made her day, big smile when she got home. :-)

Cook and I still wave to every Defender we see but sadly as we're in the D4 mostly don't even warrant a dirty look! But as it looks like we're keeping the Puma and flogging Cooks Camry shopping trolley instead, maybe we'll get waves in the future.

Waved to, & came alongside a white pre Puma 110 on the Nepean H'way Seaford today,...took me a while to catch him!
