We had an eye out for you this morning heading up the mountain at 8.30…

A mixed bag in the wave department this morning. Two out of four waved back around Richmond/North Richmond.
Got a big wave from a white 110 ute parked on the west side of Kurrajong Heights today as we headed east...was that you? I was driving the white "not-a real" Defender (AKA the S M E G) and was accused of nearly running off the road by my passenger who likes to get involved!
On the way home from work (Brisbane) in the twilight with headlights on I waved at familiar shape coming the other direction. Thinking the approaching deefer had an LED headlight upgrade I didn't notice until up close that I had given the required Defender wave to a new Grenadier..... being the first one I've spotted on the road I think I can forgive myself the error but it does raise the question of with the over priced new 'real' Defender should qualify for a wave.
Hope the owner of the new vehicle appreciated the wave, with its dark tint I couldn't make out if it was reciprocated....
Cheers

Well, why not I say. Apart from mutual confusion as a result of one looking like the other it would be a long time between waves for the Grenadier otherwise. Anyway, it's all Land Rover's fault for not building it. As for the L663 Defender, the wave is both a Defender Wave and a Land Rover Wave.
