Had a nice "hello" today in drive though. I did mention it was my RED 130 in the car park, or sometimes my series III, they said they did notice it, and stated my series III was probably more reliable:confused:

I got what I think was a rather embarrassed wave from a lady driving a Victorian-registered grey 110 in Albany the other afternoon. Her hand was on top of the wheel and when I waved she just flipped her fingers upward for a split second. I get the feeling she's under instructions, but not too happy about it!
I also had an amusing experience driving home this evening. I passed a bloke in an ex-army Unimog and neither of us waved, but we both slowly turned our heads and looked at the other's vehicle as we passed!
We got a wave from someone in an old Pajero yesterday. Also someone in a Series shortie in Carousel car park yesterday as well. :D
Oops double post
I've just this morning bought a '97 disco on Ebay for $ 850 which went over on its drivers side. I mainly wanted the 300 TDi to play with, learn to rebuild without the risk of destroying the Fender's engine. I dunno yet if the Disco is restorable or if the TDi is cactus from running on its side but I'm mainly concerned about friction between the two rival LR's.
A fellow in a Defender waved at me yesterday.
No, it wasn't Alien or Chops. I don't know who it was.
It must have been a loan car. The driver didn't have a beard.
The only people that wave at Commodores are those angry people at RBT's.
I was in the hybrid.
Just got back from Denmark and passed a few Defender's along the way. Most of them waved so if any of you are on here and saw a new red 90 in the last week or so that was us. We also made 2 day trips to Albany and saw quite a few around town there that all waved as well.
