Mounting Front Runner Rack on USA, D90 NAS edition

The 2 meter roof rack has a mounting problem due to the factory external roll bar on the forward cab of the D90. The standard mounting legs interfere with the roll bar.

    Know of any solutions?

    Thanks in advance, Dennis

Wind noise and length of 90 rack

Great info about rack choice. Any recommendations about length of the rack for a 90. You can get most racks in 140, 160 and 200cm? Wouldn't the 200cm create more wind noise than a 140cm?

    Cheers,
    Michael

I've got a 2.0m Wind Cheetah and I can't say there is much wind noise. The shorter ones might be quiter, but on 90 you need all the available space, especially if you want a rooftent option...

With the Wind Cheetah 1400, you cannot fit a 'wind deflecter' which reduces the noise if you also fit the under rack table.

And a picture of the 2m Windcheetah installed on my 2.2 Puma 90. I can't hear any additional wind noise. Now for the tent...

The rack was installed by Oppositelock in North Melbourne in 10 minutes

Ten minutes? That's about - 3 hours quicker than Hannibal.
