    Another reason to keep your Defender below 2100 is you don't have a problem in most multi level carparks, they are usually 2.1m.
    except Bondi Junction which I have an embarrassing memento at 2.05m

    All I can say is make sure you test drive one home and physically check it (very carefully of course). The direct vertical clearance of 2090mm is fine (my garage is the same), but the slightest down angle in the driveway will mean you strike the lintel. Defenders are peculiar in that they slope up continuously to the very back edge of the roof. This makes them almost impossible to fit under anything below 2200 in car parks due to ramping.

    Just do what we do, get everyone to pile in, drive in, everyone gets out. Bit of a pain but works for now.
    Long term plan is to change roller door to panel lift door, which sit higher due to no drum.
