    I actually wanted to get an old RRC at one stage and drop it/big wheels/low profile tyres/big anti-roll bars and lots of grunt (on gas) as a run around/shopping car

    the day that landrover put a decent motor in a defender is the day my backside dont face the ground!!!! however if they ever do put a decent sized diesel motor in a defender i will personally call landrover and tell them how impressed i am with there decision then i will end it with "it only took 60 years"....

    nothing really wrong with the TD5 or the tdi300 if you look after it right.

    I'll take the Heritage, with the Rock Sliders and roof rack (minus the pod) from the Sport, and the wheels from the Retro, but in Anthracite Grey.
