Bearman does yours have alot more electronics than would be in a normal county of that age? like cruise control electric fan controls and other things like that
And sorry about my earlier post with the question! i didn't realize i wasn't allowed to ask it!

    G'day Luke,
I would say you have the real item. Send me a PM if you wish and let me know your VIN number and I can tell you how close it is to mine. I reckon it will be very close. The 2A tub will fit onto it but there is a difference in the shape of the guard arch and the 110 flare will not fit in unless you do a bit of "modifying"
Only extra wiring mine had was for CB radio when I purchased it. Apart from the shortened cab the only other difference from a normal County wagon is the rear seat is moved a little further forward than standard and a 60l auxiliary fuel tank on the drivers side.
    Cheers......Brian

IMHO your task would be easier if you acquired a standard 110 tub and transferred the bulkhead behind the rear seat,

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I Know All 4X4 Spares in Kotara has wrecked one. So if there was only 3 then, yours is even rarer.

I have just acquired one of these and am in the process of fixing some faults ahead of a blue slip (Sydney sider). The first time i took it down for a blue slip there was much confusion with the inspector as the Australian Motor Vehicle Certification Board has no listing for the type in their NVD1 section. The inspector was unsure whether to classify the vehicle as either a Ute or Omnibus as the other 4 door land rovers of the type are classified. I would be very interested to see how other members have their's registered and if there is any further information on this vehicle that I can acquire.

Mine has the additional fuel tank on the drivers side, a detroit locker rear end, 3.5 litre V8 and is now dual fuel.

    Cheers

I was waiting for you to chime in. Big diesel dual cab with a galvanised chassis. Probably an example of what land rover should have done to sell dual cabs in Australia in the 80s & 90s.

Check rego/insurance costs, I think utes cost more than omnibusses for green slips. Then poke the inspector in the correct direction

This is my one and I know that a local guy to me has one. It's been in our family about 20 years or so. I've painted it and had new decals made along with the new blue back. I know some come with great big winches on the front of them as well.
