Sam,
Before you get it replaced, try some bespoke lock lube on it.
Mine was sticking a bit when it just went out of warranty and I had a bit of a panic attack about cost. "Luckily" one of my work colleagues somehow got his key locked inside the car and he called a locksmith.
I loitered a bit asking some questions about why my lock might be sticking and I think out of frustration (to get rid of me I suppose) he gave me a little squeeze bottle with some sort of dust (graphite?) to "blow" into the lock. Two squirts and its never done it since.
Suppose you can buy it or drop past a locksmith and see if he'll help out?
Cheers,
Lou
