I have replaced hoses and cleaned the current intercooler 5k kms ago. My aim is to eventually put a vnt but the intercooler is the first step! Money limits how much I can do at once

If yours is a TD5, I'd just change the intercooler and replace MAF for a siemens VDO MAF.

I've got an Allisport IC, silicon hoses and 3" exhaust and just changed the MAF. Great result! The new MAF sensor as removed almost all the turbo lag. So I wonder how much of an improvement a VNT would make.

Be interested to hear how much of a difference the Allisport manifold makes also.

You may not need a Vnt.
Having said all that I'd really like a VNT.

    Is that on a 300tdi?

Can you tune a TD5 fuel pump?
    Didn't think you could?

Mine is a 300tdi - so a bit more of a limit on what you can do to get more from it

Isn't there a south American made head you can chuck on and bore it out to a 2.8L, or is that the 200tdi?
