    Replacement Steering Wheel Defender 2015

I have bought a steering Wheel from the USA (Same as what Kahn sells for a 3rd of the price if anyone is interested)

When I called Dirk from defender tuning to order a steering BOSS adaptor kit he told me that defenders from 2015 will have a steering sensor fitted and the adaptor may not work.

Any one out there who can shed some light on this please

    Hi Louis,

I've seen that most steering wheel places selling Defender steering wheels have started putting notes up that its only up to 2014.

Not previously aware of the sensor thing, but then there is a swath of new interesting things on the MY15's (R&D for the new vehicle...?)

I would be interested in your US link if you don't mind sharing.

    Cheers,

    Lou

Could this have something to do with the new stability control? Before the system can start doing its magic it probably needs to know where the steering wheel is pointing.
    2 cents and all that.

    Hi Pickles,

I love Moto-Lita's wheels, but I picture them more for the classically restored Series 1

I was more interested in Louis' US website selling Kahn style steering wheels at a third of the price.

    Cheers,

    Lou
