    New County...maybe

    image-143791278.jpg
Just went and inspected this for mate.
He wants to get some of the accessories and move it on.
85 4 speed V8. Paint is shot but it hasn't any rust except for the rear door frame which is so minor it could be dealt with by a wire brush.
Thinking I might take it on. Yes, I know my 130 is yet to hit the road.
Mate wants the Winch (warn hi mount) and rack.

And then a Perentie soft top, and then..

I wouldn't mine one to convert to a 3.9v8 with an auto. If I had a heap of time on my hands. But I don't.

But no, I'd listen to the other voice which says finish the 130 first. Then you will be doing less working on it and more driving it.

I reckon that County looks great.

The tyres make it look old.

I would buy it, wait 10 years and sell it for $100k

You know you want to. I think you'd be silly not to. I think a V8 County would be great!

Which voice specifically were you thinking? You must have missed my signature
Did I mentioned its registered and runs and drives well. This wont be a rebuild if I take it. Just service and drive it.

Couple more weeks and the 130 will be uncovered and I "should" be able to work undisturbed and finish it.

Did this drive between Tamworth and Bendimeer today? I passed one heading south while I was heading North to Armidale.

I'm looking forward to the finish. Is the AC unit in?

    Ahh that voice.
Did I bore you with the joys of renovating when we talked last?
I have a contract stating all works completed by 9th June and Im still living out of the loungeroom with a laundry for a bathroom and no doors on any of the rooms including WC. Dust, dirt, argh.
I think I should write a journal on the escapades but..
So no Air fitted yet. Light at the end of the tunnel though.
Headng south for few weeks to help the inlaws move into retirement village and should see some free time after that.
SWMBO has had free reign on my time for the last 6 months getting the reno done (stuff we havent had to have tradies for), so I have some points to cash in (carefully considered) looking at camper backs while down south, so the finish is close.
