Can't wait to start waving at the other Defenders I see, once I'm behind the wheel.

So exciting - I have a great time trying to spot a Landy / Defender coming my way - the wave is obligortary of course - but just spotting one in my area makes my day - the return wave is icing on the cake!

Got my call last week - seems my 90 will land in Melbourne January 22 - Paid my deposit on last day June 26 so it's been a while - seems a little surreal that its here soon.

"The Wait"?
Well, We specified a lot of options on Gracie when we ordered her a couple of years ago, and we were all fired up & very happy, but had our enthusiasm slightly dampened when we were told that delivery would be in about,.....six months!!!
So I reckon 6 months has always been about the go, if it's an order to your spec, that has to be built "for you", at Solihull.
So, whilst the wait is long (We could've done without it!), it makes the eventual delivery, even more "exciting",.....we were always "counting down the days"!!...and Gracie has been worth every one of them & more.

The wait is very very long. Mine ordered on 12th January, collected 23rd October, 284 days, 40 weeks, 10 months. It was worth it though in the end.

It's a long wait, but it's good to have Christmas in the middle of it all to distract me and make the time go by a little quicker!

6 months isn't long to wait in the scheme of things. This car is going to be mine for a very long time

I ordered on June 26 too and sorry to rub it in but I pick mine up next Thursday lunchtime - what a great Christmas present
