The little black box is definitely the Internet.

cheers mate - I got a fair chunk of that list already - got my rave and subscription here... tried to get a well tempered today from daves shop but they're no longer in production (anyone wanna sell me theirs?) Im a regular user of MR auto - they just converted me to oiled bearings a fortnight ago - got their trackrod/flanges/draglink/aframe at the same time...
ive got some random dual battery setup that i might toss so i'll check the traxide out and I don't tow anything so the brake controller is a bust for me..
I spell alright when i'm not in a hurry... well not to bad for a big guy with sasauge fingers anyways.
I use the forum as often as I use my credit card so all good there too. I've literally rebuilt this truck from the ground up all with nothing more than curiosity and the help of the guys on the forum. I just ripped the whole interior and dash to insulate it all today and sort out the ECU and battery compartments... it's nearly the last thing on my list of "to do's" diffs next then Jose's turbo and I'm done... till something breaks anyways..
It'll be nice to be on the forum as a spectator for a change instead of a victim![]()
Cheers Muppet, I was thinking the same thing too - all the listings I found online and also after further investigation seem to say its a diesel tuning setup in the UK.. be nice if Tombie or one of the other Sages could ID it though..
The funny thing is everywhere I saw it listed was on pages for the "bespoke" defender builders asking ridiculous money for cars we build ourselves ... you know the ones.. strap on a fancy nose cone and grill, some low profile wheels that are useless and some seriously dark tinting and ask 80,000 pounds for it..
anyways it needs to come out.. my whole dash was dismantled today to seal up some bulkhead leaks etc.. the wiring behind the stereo was a MESS! everything is tagged and numbered so whats another clump of wires...
I must say it was fun using the guernsy on the inside of a car though.... never done that before... not in the front anyways!
