Don't go the two computer route.
If its easy to drop in the engine etc, you'd be better off using something like a Haltech ECU and digital dashboard and not use any of the Land Rover gauges. As a package these work quite well. I think they also sell a premade loom for the LS3.

Here is one of the replies.
Hello Mark
I cannot help you with LS3, although we have been asked to do it by Kahn before we haven’t done any development on the installation or ECU yet.
I can tell you off the bat that you cannot use the 2.2 ECU to drive the LS3 (or anything else than the 2.2 with any satisfaction for that matter), you will need to use an aftermarket one. That’s the only way you’re going to get an ECU to talk to the existing systems such as security, electrical etc AND engine management.
I would ask the supplier of your engine + GB to supply you with a suitable ECU for this.
We have vast amount of experience however on Rover V8 installations including getting them to work with aftermarket ECU’s.
However it’s not very realistic to think we can support you so remotely on such a project, knowing also that Rover V8 conversions cost nearly twice as much as the chevrolet ones. If shipping your car to us for a proper “British” conversion is an option, let’s have a chat.
Please have a look at our website for our products, from the top pf my head I can definitely tell you you would benefit from our suspension upgrades.
All my best

Bender07 (will have to check user name but it's something like that) fitted a LS3 to his puma a couple of years ago......he took me for a spin and it was magic.
From memory new crate motor, new instruments, paddle shifter, the console looked factory, air bag suspension all round.
It really looked like it come out of the factory in its finished form.
He sold it to a guy in WA I believe.
Babs, google Wildcat Automotive in the U.K....they've done heaps of LS3 too,...see what they have to say. I don't like the idea of a non standard dash,...if it could be avoided.
Pickles.
Here you go guys, I hope you enjoy the vids as much as I did.
