Yeah, looking forward to trying them out.

I had a set of the previous pattern Wildpeak on my old disco and was really happy with those.

I was tempted by the Wrangler Duratracs but couldn't really justify the extra $95 a tyre!

Just tested out my Yokohama Geolander Mud Terrain's....so impressed with the handling and lack of noise!

This month, they are doing 4 for the price of three!

    So far, me likey!
The serenity of how quiet these are after the howl of the worn Goodyears is awesome!!
They do look good. I recently got a set of Kumho AT51’s. Similar, it slightly less chunky. Happy so far, good on wet bitumen and gravel, quiet on road, but early days, only done 1000km so far.

Rough idea of price per tyre? I like the look of them and at least they seem to have some form of sidewall biters too

I spent some time this afternoon on/in/under the 130

I needed to oil the cable for the fresh/recirculate lever as it wasn't moving anymore so after pulling the dash I got motivated and ran a remote power wire for the sub woofer from the stereo to the sub wiring that lives in the Ex Box. I forgot to run the power enable wire when I ran the signal cables so I've been switching the sub manually for the last 18 months or so.

While I was underneath I noticed that the bolts on the driveshaft yolk on the park brake drum were loose which explains the clunk when moving from forward to reverse. Tightened them up as well, all in all a productive couple of hours.

    Regards,
    Tote

About $250 I think. 4tyres and an alignment cost me just over $1k.

Driving the 80 odd k’s home from Sydney airport in our 2012 2.2 Puma shorty the clutch started making strange grinding noises, not only when engaging but also driving along in gear.. managed to get home, and tried to select reverse and just gear clashing noises, tried selecting first and same deal. Nothing prior to indicate any potential issues. So now unable to select any gears, but clutch pressure/travel is normal. 63k on the clock.

Oh dear...need to organize transport for it in the morning.
    Cheers
