I have had my DR650s for 3 years now and its been in 4 cars.
No issues in the Defender with rough roads, Its probably done 12,000km in 4 months and none of the cameras have fallen off.

I will complete the job with 3 packs of Dynaliner and I have covered almost every bit of white panel I can find..

Hows your sense of humour after removing the bonded windows? A mongrel of a job.

Questions guys, I think you've both recently just added Dynamat to your roof lining.....im just wondering why. Is this purely a sound deadening exercise or does it help with heat reduction in the car too?

Also, im doing the front footwell and surrounds on mine soon.....will 1 x Dynamat Xtreme Bulk Pack (Nine 18" x 32" sheets) be enough or do I need more?

Thanks for the comment - good to know. Have you ever captured any craziness on it?

Dynamat Extreme and Dynalyner or Car Builders Acoustic liner

    Hi Landy.
Both. The Dynamat Extreme dampens any drumming and absorbs heat, and the Acoustic liner absorbs sound and doesnt transfer heat either.
As I have a Rhino Rack on my 110, heat from the roof is not really that big an issue. The insulation will also help in cold environments as well, as I plan some extensive Tassy travels during winter.
    Best wishes.

    My weekends planned out!

Well, the Postie finally came today, so I finished installing the Dynamat Extreme and Dynalyner to the ceiling of my 110.
I also did the wiring while the head lining was down for the new Mud Stuff centre LED lights.

My Nugget Stuff Air box and plumbing arrived as well, so it goes in tomorrow.

As does my Car Builders Zero Clearance heat shield, peel and stick, which will be placed along the exhaust from the Turbo back. I have two large sheets so enough to clear the cab and along to the rear muffler.

Photos ons of the finished jobs to follow!

Fitting Nuggets Water tight Air intake and Pre rust!

    Hmmm;
I'm just installing my Nuggett Stuff water tight Air box kit to my 2012 110, after installing 1 1/2 sheets of Car Builders Zero Clearance heat shield under the centre muffler and tail pipe area.
Re the air kit, you have to cut up the OEM air duct as you can't remove it otherwise. It's tossed after you fit Nuggets kit anyway.
I found this paint blistering under my Safari Snorkel body when I removed it.
    Not good!
Oh well, I'll wait for the blue goo to dry by tomorrow, and will Sand that blistering paint back, re apply undercoat and top coat to repair it. It won't need to be spot on as it's hidden by the snorkel body.
For those with time on their hands, it may pay to remove your Safari Snorkel intake and check your body work as well. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there with this going on in the background.
Nuggets kit is so much better sealing, and I have full confidence that it won't leak water unlike the OEM air induction.
As usual of late, sorry about the side ways photos!

    Dynema winch rope

My 30m of 10mm Dynema 97 arrived today.
So light! Weighs no more than 1kg, if that.
Easy to handle and easy to wind on the spool. If your not using a winch silly often, I don't see any down sides to this product, even if you replace it every two years or so. It's not expensive. 1kg vs 15kg (including roller fairlead).
    Im sold on it!

Redid the aerial connection on my UHF. Now I can hear every Eeeeeeejit in Sydney.

What does "Ormgordbro. Crackda****enmirraonyalambageeeni." mean? Any one know?
    Cheers, Billy.
    Keeping it simple is complicated.
