    These ex-mine Troopies are prised by the Fraser Island Tagalong mobs. The use them untill they become un economical and flog them off in similar fashion. I feel for the poor bloke, as I chuckle inside.

    I removed most of the skin off my knuckles removing,cleaning and lubing the EGR. Stupid POS died in the open position so the motor has been running like crap.Anyway,it's refitted and is unplugged,I can live with the engine light for now. Pat

    I replaced my summer with winter tires. Next on my list is to replace the washer fluid to something that can handle the Swiss winter.

    pulled all the old lights off and put on the gum tree. ran new wiring up the inside of the snorkel to feed a roof light bar. just waiting for GRP4x4 mounts to arrive now...

    I re fitted the glass to my ds door because it fell into the cavity! Turns out the bolts had 0 loctite on them and all those corrugations must have loosened them. A fun job on a wet night.....

    I had the rear door card off to repair the central locking wiring last week.

    Over the last weekend and today;

    Fitted an Ex Box;

    - Sub cable too short. Still working on that one,
    - Didn't change over the wiring. I'll wait until I have a bit more experience in that area first

    Fitted (but not connected) an in car charger for a Thumper;

    - All that remains to do is connect to an active 12v. Would this work? Double Blade Fuse Socket Wire Tap | Jaycar Electronics

    Next Weekend

    - Start on the Traxide light/driving light upgrade
