    Lithium Accessory Battery 120 iTechWorld

My rear accessory battery has died due to the build time for my LS3 installation and Victoria’s COVID lock down, so, its a perfect time to install a new 120 AH Lithium battery.
Under half the weight, 5 times the cycles and almost twice the capacity of a standard Lead acid 120AH unit, and doesn’t require a different charger!
    More once I fit it.👍

Ordered a BAS RRC remap 170BHP. Trying to get hold of an Allisport intercooler. No answer from them on stock.

Get the BAS intercooler. Much better unit.

Interested in some real world feedback on these...lots of varying comments online.

Out of interest what charger/dual battery system m are you currently using. from memory these are advertised as drop in replacements therefore no specific system required.

I had a look at them when I switched to lithium. The max. current draw wasn’t high enough for my needs so went a different route.

You’ll enjoy the extra capacity along with weight saving.

I got a backorder on the allisport. Should get quicker than BAS and a little cheaper.

Not the Puma but the 1992 110 200 tdi. Collected from the garage today. She was in getting four new shock absorbers. The shocks that came off were put on in 1992 at Solihull, so I can't complain.

Mrs Tombie has a WRX for the work run now - so Ike is in the workshop and I’m playing upgrades.

He’s been essentially stock with regards to touring add ons - even the camper is self sufficient so no power link between vehicle and camper.

Then there’s this relatively new addition - a Grandkid. So needed to add a way to mount the kiddie seat.

    Rear Aux fuse box

    Associated fittings:
    12v Aux socket
    50a Anderson for fridge
Twin USB ports with Voltmeter and switch to isolate

mounting for child bolt - had an engineer go over it and he’s happy - just waiting on the M8 Button Head Bolts to finish attaching it.

Next phase is sorting the battery box and eXBox - I’ve finished the basics, just working through the routine and final fit up. Still dragging cables and settling on item locations.
