Not sure on any of your questions dazzler. They had the injectors out before and likely reused the seals without cleaning up before putting it back together so may not need to be touched if they don't get removed.
Personally if I were doing it myself and had them out I would have chosen to fit new ones.

ah sorry for the confusion. I have a 2.2 which smokes a bit on start up and i was wondering if changing the O rings will solve it. Mine does not have any obvious sign of leakage.

Thanks for your response Rig110 appreciate it.

    Hey Everyone,

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I thought I would provide an update on this. My car slowly got worse blowing more smoke each time it started up and as I have a trip planned in the next few weeks I decided I didn't want this playing on my mind, so I finally bit the bullet and replaced my injectors 2 days ago.

Wow. My car is completely different. The smoking on startup is now gone, but I also have so much more power back. My car is much smoother to drive and the terrible backlash I had when taking my foot off the pedal to coast up to lights is also gone.

very happy with the job. cost $2164 to replace all injectors.

    Dan
