Haven't fitted it yet but my BAS intercooler, silicon hoses and ecu remap turned up today only one week from the uk quick delivery. Looks like I will be busy next days off work.

Installed a new set of LED Headlights courtesy of Mr Nugget. So far, so good. Just need some clear indicators now.

    Cheers Mick

I wish I had gone them sooner then spending an arm and a leg trying to make the factory ones work reliably.

Took delivery of the nugget stuff sealed airbox kit last week. I suppose will be fitting it some day soon.

Don't have a snorkel and unlikely to fit one. I do have the BAS 170hp AB tune and want a more open airway into the air filter box.

Quick Question: Does upgrading to the LEDs circumvent any issues to do with the lack of headlight relay and need for uprated/higher gauge wiring?

mwbrydon - no, it does not circumvent the issue, but enables you to get more light than the standard lights without exacerbating the issue.

Yesterday, going into town in temperatures in the low forties, the platic hubacp on the RH front wheel came loose and leaked oil all over the wheel.

The near new hubcap, at these temperatures (probably add a bit of heat from the brakes) is about as rigid as a plastic bag. However, on removing it and cleaning everything up, I find that the ridge that is supposed to hold the hubcap on is actually about 50% wider than the groove it slots into. Hence is unlikely to hold it by anything other than friction.

I located an old hubcap (I have a new one, but it was the same) that not only has the correct width ridge, and is much more rigid. Unfortunately, it is also slightly loose, so I assembled it with a line of Loctite No. 4 gasket sealant. Hopefully that will stay on and sealed.

Just installed my BAS intercooler lot bigger the original, and a set ofsilicon hoses, the intercooler was easy but putting the silicon hoses on was a bit of a pita.
