A 120 litre tank with a 7 litre reserve sounds good to me. So does the double skin option.

Repainted the corroded aluminium outer locking plate for a sliding window latch . Decided to colour code to the car.

Degreased, prepwashed and sprayed some etch primer on the rear crossmember of the ute.
Gonna hit it with some satin black to tidy it up so it doesn't have that new against old look,. when I fit the rijidij rear carrier that has been sitting in my garage too long.

Started pulling the engine out of the 2012 110 Defender.
Have a pile of hoses I can't jump over.
Hopefully have engine on the deck tomorrow.

Just had a week and a half of fixing stuff that should not need fixing!
108000km and new silicon inter cooler hose from turbo to inter cooler, knuckle did its job, had the alisport inter cooler welded up as it was cracked on both input and output headed tanks, oil catch can fitted- heaps of blow by (standard right) new exhaust manifold gasket ,1 and 2 breaches have been loose for yonks. Lastly fixed the nailing sound from injector with a replacement. 2.4 sounds normal again, no nailing no whooshing no whistling. And me a few K lighter. Ah the joys

Engine failed at 106000km suspect cracked #2 piston.
Got the engine out today won't be able to disassemble till next week.

Made a bit of a table by cutting some ply and bolting a bit of steel above the bottom step of my ladder. It just slips in between the two and makes a cantilevered shelf off the ladder.
Super handy having such a quick flat surface available near the back door.
After much testing, it appears to make a pretty good bar!

They're not bad are they? I have a smaller version in the same location.
